STRAW ON THE CAMEL
Straw on the Camel is a horror project about negligent advice, psychic fallout, ego and consequence. What begins as guidance becomes a curse -and the price is blood.
OVERVIEW
Straw on the Camel is a horror property built around one central truth: bad guidance has a cost. At its core is Kimberly, a once-acclaimed psychic forced to reckon with the devastating consequences of her own dismissive advice. Across both the short-film and feature-film versions, the story explores guilt, psychic fallibility, public judgment, and the violence that follows when arrogance outruns intuition. The short delivers psychological and supernatural dread. The feature drives the same premise into a faster, more vicious slasher experience.
Formats: Short Film / Feature Film

SHORT FILM / PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR
Comps: Black Mirror meets The Sixth Sense
Set largely inside Kimberly’s rundown apartment, with psychic visions unfolding through a mystical crossroads and virtual client interactions, the short follows a former star psychic as guilt, social backlash, and supernatural terror close in from every side. This is an intimate descent story driven by dread, consequence, and the slow unraveling of someone who mistook confidence for power.
FEATURE FILM / SLASHER HORROR
The feature version of Straw on the Camel expands the property into a harsher, faster, and more brutal horror experience. Where the short is psychological, supernatural, and claustrophobic, the feature widens the world and sharpens the violence. It keeps the same spine—negligent guidance, psychic consequence, and moral collapse—but pushes the premise into slasher territory with greater momentum, higher stakes, and a more aggressive horror payoff.
